Parent Page

The parents of Risen Savior Lutheran School students are very active in our program. Parents volunteer five hours per semester because when your children see you volunteer at school, they learn how much you value education.

Parents are welcome to observe their children in the classroom at any time. Parents and other volunteers who like to help in the classroom on a regular basis must have fingerprint clearance cards and TB tests to insure the safety of all of our students.

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) holds monthly meetings and plans special events and fundraisers that bring additional value to the program. Historically, the PTO has organized the school’s book fairs, fall festivals, spring events, teacher appreciation, parents’ night out, t-shirt sales and many other fundraisers. These fundraisers have resulted in numerous gifts to the school including shade structures, playground equipment, a laminator, a die cut machine, and Zoo Days. Planning and organizing parent education seminars, fellowship events and supporting the staff during professional development trainings are other ways the PTO enhances the community of Risen Savior. We encourage all parents to participate in their child’s early education. This is a very exciting period in your child’s development!
