STOs (Scholarship Tuition Organizations)
Arizona students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade can take advantage of the Arizona tax credit program to offset tuition in private schools. This is a phenomenal opportunity for friends and extended AZ families of students to help support their Christian education. Multiple organizations are capable of offering scholarship awards and grants to students enrolled at Risen Savior Lutheran School. Please remember that to pursue a scholarship, you must apply, complete the suggested process and be enrolled prior to their deadlines. Risen Savior will be hosting a few STO orientation nights in spring each year. Here are some options that are available and present the best opportunity for scholarships. - Arizona Lutheran Scholarship Organization (ALSO) – www.azkids.net
- ALSO recognizes recommended tuition tax credit donations
- ALSO distributes non-recommended funds to Risen Savior students in July and in January of each academic year
- Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization (ACTSO) – www.acsto.org
- ACSTO recognizes recommended tuition tax credit donations
- ACSTO makes award distributions in the each summer, fall and spring
- AZ Private Education Scholarship Fund – www.apesf.org
- APESF $500 – $1500 (accepts applications April 1st – June 30th)
- If you apply, advise the school and we will submit a school recommendation on your behalf
- School Choice Arizona (SCAZ) – www.schoolchoicearizona.org
- Corporate scholarships
- No fee – application deadline is June 30th
- Arizona Scholarship Fund – www.AzScholarships.org
- No fee or application deadline
Other Financial Aid Sources
- Fry’s Grocery Gift Card
- $5 dollar fee for card obtained from the school office
- Load dollar amounts on the card at the grocery store and earn rebates to from your purchases to be applied to your tuition account
- Risen Savior Tuition Assistance (Adopt a Child Fund)
